About roof replacement
When a roof is near the end of its life, or the damage is too widespread to repair, a new roof is the better investment. A replacement starts from the deck up, so problems under the old roof are found and fixed too.
Signs to look out for
- Leaks in more than one place
- Shingles that are curling, cracking or bare of granules
- Many cracked or broken tiles
- A roof deck that feels soft underfoot
- A roof that is close to its expected lifespan
